God, the guy with the ponytail who had just gotten evicted but he wanted to get his line of poetry just right--and the kids with the corn rows all circling around that piece of paper - so excited. That's some moving shit right there.:)

P.S. I tried to watch your vid yesterday eve, but my computer kept freezing. Strangely, it unfroze while I was in the shower. I heard voices in the bedroom and thought it was the Grim Reaper or a few Reapers, since there were multiple voices.:)

Oohh, I get it now - sounds like Ginsberg's Blakean vision of the unknowing interconnectedness of life and people. Very cool, thanks!

Oooh thank you for asking this important question, Natasha! What is the difference between graffiti and corpsing? Well, while I'm not sure there needs to be a difference - as both are public art forms - and I definitely am not an expert in graffiti art, but from the basic little that I know, I can say there are a few differences.

For example, graffiti is oftentimes the work of one person (or a group of friends) expressing her/himself through the tag. Whereas corpse is bringing together several, completely unrelated voices that would otherwise not be making their imprint on the city streets and otherwise not communicating with each other.

Furthermore, corpse, as it is simply posted on stickers, is a bit more impermanent than graffiti, which is good and bad.

And finally, corpse's main goal is to establish a sense of community. Graffiti, I believe, does the same, but does so among other graffiti artists. Corpse, on the other hand, aims to appeal to as many people as possible, aims to be transparent and available to all rather have its reading be coded and preserved for a few knowing minds.

Again, this is all based on what little i know, and if corpse could be seen with the same amount of respect that graffiti elicits, I would be grateful. Thanks for asking!!!
Hopelessly smoted to you as well :)

This may be a basic/annoying question, but I'm confused about what the difference between regular graffiti and corpsing is?
